Day 36

Day 36:

Another brilliant day at the pool.

February 5, 2011 (36/365)

Day 35

Day 35:

This was a full day in the sun by the pool, down to the ocean and pier at sunset, saw a wedding on the beach, then finished the night with P.F. Chang's and a redbox. The LIFE. Too bad I had to come back to reality 2 days later.

wedding!

the one below is a little dramatic. haha.

Day 34

Day 34:

My first day in Florida. It's crazy that you can fly 3 hours and it feels like you're in a completely different world. Jame and I took a walk today, and I felt like I was in Avatar with how crazy and beautiful some of the plants are. We enjoyed the 80 degree sunshine, needless to say.

Day 33

Day 33:

Left for Florida for the weekend to be with my Grandma, Dad, and sister. This is one of the tunnels in the Detroit airport and it was mezmerizing. It kept changing colors and playing pretty music too. I kind of was tempted to just sit down and watch for a while, but then I realized I should probably get to my gate.

Day 32

Day 32:

This is what I do. Playing volleyball since middle school has been awesome, and I have been so blessed to continue to play after high school in college at Cornerstone. I love every second of it, and i love my team even more. It's been beyond amazing being a part of a Christ-centered team with girls that i connect with so well.

Currently we are in spring season, where we have workouts every day, plus practices, plus league games. It's a lot, and it's a lot of hard work, but it's a blast. Playing a sport in college is like a full time job. We never stop.

Day 31

Day 31:

This would be one of my best friends EVER. The Panda. After a long day beginning with 6:00 a.m. workouts, middle school subbing, then ESL tutoring, I was wiped, and kind of got into one of those crazy-tired-absurd-out-of-control moods. Panda was standing by the table and I justscooped her up. We do things like this often.

We've been living together for 3 years (technically 4 because we pretty much lived together senior year of high school), and have been best friends since 1st grade. Not many people get to live with their best friend in college.

This one below is from our freshman year at Cornerstone.

And the two below are from senior year of high school. What a friend I have in this girl.

Day 30

Day 30:

My sister and her best friend teach Sunday School for young 4's and 5's at our church in Sawyer. She asked me to come in to take some pictures of her kids.

Today they were learning about Ester and how all the women dressed up beautifully and went in front of the king, and then the king would choose his queen. So for the story, one of the kids was the king, and all the girls got to go over to the table where there were scarves and jewelry and get dressed up. Then the king chose Ester, the one he loved the most, and God worked through Ester as the queen to help the people. It was so fun seeing the girls marvel at the entire table that was filled with treasures. They were so overwhelmed!
